Ride the Parkway.

Thank you to all of our riders, volunteers, sponsors and vendors for helping us celebrating the 15th Anniversary of Ride the Parkway! Special thank you to Steve and Peggy Rex for starting this ride that brings the cycling community together in support of the American River Parkway!

See you next year!

May 2018

What could be better?

Bikes, BBQ, & Beer.

For 2018, Ride the Parkway has moved to May so get ready to log some May is Bike Month miles while supporting the American River Parkway.

Rest stops will be provided along the way. All routes start and finish at William B. Pond Recreation Area.

An event for everyone

Relax after the ride, with good food, beer, music, and people.

The BBQ: The post-ride festival starts at 11am at William B. Pond. Bring a lawn chair and a picnic blanket for the party with live music, a delicious BBQ lunch catered by O'Connor's Wood Fire Grill & Bar (vegetarian options will be available), and a mini beer/wine garden with local brews. Plus, win awesome prizes from local restaurants, breweries, cycling shops and more!

The Music: Enjoy your food while listening to Unsupervised the Band, "Sacramento's most politically correct band," featuring your very own Sacramento County Supervisor Phil Serna on the electric bass!

The Competition: Are you a member of a cycling team or club? Or do you just love to go out riding with a group of your friends? We want to see who can bring out the most riders! Enter a team name when you register for a chance to win a beer prize! Please be sure all team members enter the same name.

The Beneficiary: Proceeds from Ride the Parkway benefit the American River Parkway Foundation’s programs that remove trash and debris, maintain the multi-use trail, and restore habitat.

Register Opens again in 2019!
